PROUDLY SUPPORTING RED CROSS AUSTRALIA
WE HAVE PROVEN OURSELVES OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS TO SUPPLY RIDERS WITH AN ENVIRONMENT THAT ENABLES THEM TO EXCEL IN THEIR CYCLING. THE RACING KANGAROOS CYCLING PROGRAM HAS PROVIDED RIDERS TO NSW STATE TEAMS AND AUSTRALIAN TEAMS WHICH HAS RESULTED IN CHAMPIONSHIP RIDERS. WE ARE VERY PROUD OF THE FACT THAT OUR NRS TEAM HAS BEEN MORE THAN COMPETITIVE AGAINST THE MAJOR TEAMS AND CONSISTENTLY PLACED IN THE TOP 5 IN THE TEAM’S CLASSIFICATION. RECENTLY IN NEW ZEALAND TOUR OF SOUTHLAND WE PLACED 2ND IN THE TEAM’S CLASSIFICATION AND HAD TWO RIDERS PLACE IN THE TOP 10 IN U23'S.
THE RACING KANGAROOS WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND OUR PROGRAM TO RIDERS WHO ARE LOOKING TO IMPROVE THEIR CYCLING RESULTS. WHETHER IT BE GETTING TO THE CAFÉ FIRST, WINNING YOUR GRADE OR MOVING UP A GRADE AT CLUB RACING, IMPROVING YOUR TIMES AT YOUR NEXT SPORTIF OR START RACING AT ELITE LEVEL WE HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO BECOME PART OF OUR PROGRAM. THIS IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP YOUR CYCLING AND PROVIDE YOU WITH THE TOOLS THAT CAN ENABLE YOU TO RACE AGAINST AUSTRALIA’S BEST.
YOU WILL FEEL LIKE YOU ARE PART OF OUR “TEAM” AS TRAINING PROGRAMS, TRAINING CAMPS AND RACE MANAGEMENT WILL BE PROVIDED. THIS IS OPEN TO FEMALE/MALE RIDERS FROM JUNIORS TO MASTERS. PLEASE EMAIL KURT POLOCK ON KPOLOCK@HOTMAIL.COM FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
Well there it is.... Grafton to Inverell done and what a hell of a race! starting with Craig Hutton, what a rider being in the break from Grafton working hard and representing the Racing Kangaroos so we didn't have to chase in the peloton, then to go forth and win the first intimidate sprint and then pushing on further to tackle the Gibraltar Range ahead of a peloton of fierce fresh legs, just awesome! Well done Matt King on his first ever NRS Grafton and not knowing any of the course and still holding his own to grab 15th rocks can't wait to roll together again, and finally Daniel Alcock! so much respect for the bloke, he's one of the best and handiest riders I've ever met and when it looked like the race was set he attacks and places 9th Thank you to all the support over the day, I heard so many 'Get It Done's and 'Go Chunky'!!! I was pretty blown away from all the support from the friends and family out there today it didn't go unnoticed. My day was awesome, my first NRS Grafton and planned to try hold it with the climbers which I did! and then went on to make my attacks before pushing through some very rough patches and coming out the other side for 13th had me so happy This status is damn huge but most importantly, Kurt Polock... the last 12months he's helped me every step of the way in my 2013 season, without his drive, coaching and support I wouldn't be at the level I'am, awesome bloke there's no one like him! Thank you! Long Live The Roos! — feeling Get It Done with Craig Hutton, Racing Kangaroos, Kurt Polock, Daniel Alcock and Matt King.
